A Place to Call Home

At Lakeshore Baptist Church, we believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus — right here in Monroe, Louisiana. Whether you're taking your first steps in faith or you've been walking with Christ for decades, you'll find a welcoming, family-friendly environment focused on worship and the teaching of God's Word.

Our worship service begins with praise and worship at 10:45am, followed by a biblical sermon designed to encourage and challenge us in our walk with Christ. Whether you come dressed casually or in your Sunday best, you are welcome here.

Join us at 5:15pm for a church meal before Wednesday night service. It's a great time to connect and share a meal together.

Food Bank Ministry

On the first Tuesday of every month, our team heads to the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana to pack food boxes for seniors and families across our 12-parish region. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, there's a place for you.

Good News Club

A high-energy, safe, and gospel-centered after-school program for local elementary students. Each week features tasty snacks, exciting games, and engaging Bible stories that bring Scripture to life in an age-appropriate way.

What We Believe

We at Lakeshore Baptist Church adhere to the core beliefs presented in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Here are the fundamentals that guide our church family:

The Authority of Scripture

The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God — our guide for faith and practice.

Salvation by Grace

We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by our works, but by His finished work on the cross.

The Gospel

Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. This good news is the power of God for salvation.

The Great Commission

We are called to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded.

The Church

The local church is a body of baptized believers united in faith, worship, and mission — called to encourage one another and serve our community.

Believer's Baptism

We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.
